Truck Overturns On Mumbai-Pune Expressway; No Casualties Reported
Pune, 12th May 2023: On the Mumbai Pune Expressway at around 4.00 am today (May 12), a cargo truck going towards Mumbai overturned on a slope due to brake failure near Km 37. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this accident, but there was a traffic jam on the route heading towards Mumbai.
Cleaner Muzaffar Sheikh was slightly hurt in the accident.
As soon as the information about the accident came to light, IRB Patrol, Borghat Traffic Police System, Mrityunjay Devdoot System, Delta Force, and Lokmanya Hospital Ambulance immediately provided assistance and cleared the traffic after taking the truck to the side.
