Two cops checking speed on Expressway hit by car
Pune – Three persons including two policemen from Highway police who were videographing traffic on the Pune- Mumbai Expressway, were injured when a speeding car hit them.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Lonavala rural police.
The injured police men are head constable Kailash Kadam and police naik Shivanand Moslagi and Andheri city survey officer Chandrakant Shinde.
The Swift Dzire car which hit them was being driven by Rekha Shaha of Pimpri.
According to police, the two cops were video shooting the traffic to check cases of over speeding on the Expressway, when Shaha who was driving towards Pune, hit them. After that her car crossed the divider to reach the opposite lane and hit Shinde’s car who was driving towards Mumbai.
Police are checking Shaha has valid driving license or not.
