Two Groups Clash In Khadakwasla, Three Injured
Khadakwasla, 13th December 2022: Due to the previous enmity, a clash took place between two groups near the canal in Khadakwasla. In this regard, conflicting complaints have been filed at the Haveli police station. Two have been arrested by the police. Three people are undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
Sagar Bharat Mate (28), Mayur Arvind Chavan (23), Mohan Rathod (32), Umesh Rathod (34), Chetan Rathod (22), all the residents of Khadakwasla, and three other unknown persons have been accused. Aslam Salar Sheikh (24), a resident of Khadakwasla Dam, Landge Vasti, was forcibly taken from the bike and beaten by the hand due to enmity with his younger brother Minaj. Accused Aslam Sheikh was beaten and brought back to Khadakwasla near the dam canal.
Atharva Madan Mate (19), Kunal Rambhau Sonwane (18), Akash Rajendra Thite (23), Anand Vishwas Tagunde (22), Maruti Babu Chavan (20), a minor, all residents of Khadakwasla and four to five other unidentified accused, who were there when Aslam Sheikh told his brother Minaj Sheikh (23) that he had been beaten up, stabbed Sahil Arvind Chavan, Chetan Rathod and Mayur Arvind Chavan with a crossbow.
As soon as the incident was reported, Haveli sub-divisional officer Bhausaheb Dhole, police inspector Sadashiv Shelar, assistant police inspector Nitin Nam, Niranjan Ranvare, and other police personnel reached the spot.
In this regard, conflicting complaints have been filed at the Haveli police station. Minaj Sheikh and Akash Thete have been arrested by the Haveli police. Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Nam and Sub Divisional Police Officer Bhausaheb Dhole are conducting further investigations.
