UGC Brings Change In Anti-Ragging Policy

Pune, 5th November 2021: University Grants Commission (UGC) has brought a change in the ragging policy across the country. The students had to sign a pledge of anti-ragging form. But now UGC has changed its policy. It informed it through a notification.

Earlier the students and their parents had to fill in the online form http://www.antiragging.in and http://www.amanmovement.org. But now making it easy after filling the form on these two websites, now the students will get an email and link of registration. 

Later, the student will send it to the college/university coordinator. UGC in its notification mentioned that the list of students filling the form will get updated after every 24 hours.

What is the change? 

Now the university/college will have an extra column where the students will have to fill the Anti-ragging Pledge registration number’ The notification also mentions that the nodal officer’s email and phone number will be displayed at the admission office, education department, canteen, library among others.
