Undre, Adkar get PMDTA Best players Awards
Pune, October 4, 2023: Pune’s Girls Under 16 National Champion Asmi Adkar and Under 12 national Champion Smit Undre were awarded the PMDTA – Arun Wakankar Memorial Award for the Best Girl and Best Boy Tennis players from Pune District at the PMDTA Annual Day Celebrations for 2021-22 organized by PMDTA in the city.
Top ranked players in the Pune District were awarded the Icon Scholarships , Tennis Officials from Pune District and city based coaches Ravindra Pandey , Atul Deodhare and Kapil Kinnari were awarded the Nandu Rokade Award for best coaches of the year.
Over 100 coaches from Pune District , Parents , Players were present In large numbers. The awards were handed over at the hands of Aparna Wakankar , Local MLA Siddharth Shirole, Mr.Kishor Patil, President of PMDTA, Mr.Sunder Iyer, Hon Secretary of MSLTA. Mr.Abhishek Tamhane, Hon Secretary of PMDTA, Mr. Girish Inamdar, Gen. Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana, Mr.Ashwin Girme Tennis Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana Treasurer Off PMDTA Mr.Kaustubh Shah were present on the occasion.
