Undre, Roy in line for double crown at the Bharati Vidyapeeth MSLTA Deccan Gymkhana All India Ranking Championship Series U14 Tennis Tournament
Pune, October 5, 2023: Varad Undre and Swanika Roy placed themselves in line for a double crown reaching the singles and doubles finals in the Boys and Girls event at the Bharati Vidyapeeth MSLTA Deccan Gymkhana All India Ranking Championship Series U14 Tennis Tournament being organised by Sandeep Kirtane Tennis Academy and played at Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts
In the boys singles top seeded Varad Undre will take on second seeded Shounak Suvarna in the finals , Varad also reached the doubles finals with his brother Smit.
In the boys semifinals semis Varad stopped Sanat Kadle 6-1,6-3 while Suvarna registered a 6-4,6-2 win over Pradyumna Tatachar
In the girls top seeded Swanika Roy scored a 6-2,6-1 win over Vara Eshwar she will take on second seeded Aarohi Deshmukh outplayed Prarthana Khedkar 6-1, 6-3 to reach the finals
Roy then partnered Sharvaree Deore to reach the doubles finals
