Vaishno Devi: Now 7000 Devotees Can Visit Every Day

Jammu, October 13, 2020: After seven months on the occasion of Navratri, all kinds of facilities are being restored for the devotees of Vaishno Devi from October 15. Service of horses pony, pithoos and palkhi will also be available. Along with this, according to the order of the state administration, seven thousand devotees will be allowed to visit every day. The special thing in this will be that there will be no fixed number for the devotees of local or other states.

The Shrine Board administration is going to expand facilities for devotees on the occasion of Navratra. On the journey route, there will also be a provision of fruits in the eateries. Preparations are being done for this. On the other hand, Shatchandi Mahayagya will also be organised in the Navratri Bhavan complex.

Strict arrangements have been made for electricity, water, sanitation and security on Navratri. Shrine Board CEO Ramesh Kumar said that the temple premises of Maa Vaishno Devi will be decorated with native and exotic fruit-flowers and colourful lights, carrying the sacred Navratras.

Earlier the service of helicopters, battery cars, cable cars was restored for the devotees, now the facilities of horse pony, pithoo and palkhi will also be available to the devotees. Vaishno Devi Yatra was abruptly postponed due to Corona epidemic on 18 March. Since then, there was a financial crisis for the laborers with horse pony, pithoos and palkhi.

Devotees coming from outside Jammu and Kashmir to visit the shrine will have to bring a Corona negative certificate.
