Maharashtra: MPSC November Exams Postponed

Pune, October 13, 2020: The Maharashtra State Public Service Commission (MPSC) has postponed two more important exams which were scheduled for November, stated a circular issued by MPSC today.
The Engineering Pre-Examination was supposed to be held on November 1, 2020, while the Subordinate Service Non-Gazetted Group B Joint Pre-Examination was to be held on November 22, 2020.
The revised dates for the exam will be announced in due course, the commission said. Earlier, the MPSC examination scheduled for Sunday, October 11 has also been postponed.
Maratha organizations had agitated for not holding the MPSC examination immediately as the results regarding Maratha reservation are pending.
MP Sambhaji Raje had warned, “If time permits, we will raise our sword in the Maratha reservation case.” Against this backdrop, a meeting of the top leaders of the state government was held and it was decided to postpone the MPSC examination immediately.
