Veteran RSS Leader Madan Das Devi Passes Away at Bangaluru, Last Rites To Be Held In Pune
Pune 24th July 2024: Veteran Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) pracharak Madan Das Devi passed away at a private hospital in Bangaluru on Monday at the age 81 years. The RSS officials have informed that his last rites will take place in Pune at 11 am on July 25.
He breathed his last at 5.00 AM on Monday morning at Rashtrotthana Hospital, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. Former National Organising Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, he worked closely with former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed anguish on his death and recalled his long association with Madan Das Devi. “Deeply saddened by the demise of Madal Das Devi ji. He dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation. I not only had a close association with him but I always got to learn a lot from him. May God give strength to all the workers and their families in this hour of grief. Om Shanti !” he tweeted.
