Vijay Wadettiwar appointed as leader of opposition of State legislative assembly

Mumbai, June 24 :- MLA of Indian National Congress Vijay Wadettiwar had been appointed as the leader of opposition in the Maharashtra State Assembly. This was announced by the speaker of the Assembly Haribhau Bagade.

The post of leader of opposition was vacated after Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil resigned. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated Wadattiwar by making him sit on the chair of the opposition leader. He also highlighted the track record of the newly appointed opposition leader and wished him best luck for his future performance. Health minister Eknath Shinde, MLA Balasheb Thorat, Ajit Pawar, Ganpatrao Deshmukh, Eknath Khadse, Abu Azmi also congratulated Wadattiwar on behalf of their respective parties.
