Viman Nagar: 35 COVID Cases Found In Two Housing Societies

Pune, August 21, 2020: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials said that 35 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) positive cases have been detected in two housing societies in Viman Nagar. Now many preventive measures have been put in place there.

The new patients have been found at Festival Apartment and Gera Enclave societies. The conditions of patients are stable. “We have put partitions and sanitisation of the locality is being done. We are organising a health camp for testing samples of other residents. The shops located on the premises of the society have been closed”, informed Assistant Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Bankar of the PMC’s Nagar Road ward office.

Arjun Jagtap, husband of local corporator Mukta Jagtap, said, “The focus is on the sanitisation of the societies. Barricades have also been put up restricting the movements there.”
