Violent Attack on Workers at Pune’s Vaishali Hotel, Case Registered Against Four Individuals
Pune, 30th June 2023: A disturbing incident took place on Thursday at the famous Vaishali Hotel located on Fergusson College (FC) Road, where a gang launched a brutal attack on the hotel’s workers. The Deccan police station has registered a case against four individuals involved in the incident.
The accused have been identified as Irfan Sheikh, Sushil Sandbhor, Vishwajit Jadhav, and Chaudhary. Nikita Jagannath Shetty has filed the complaint. The gang forcibly entered the hotel premises and subjected the workers to verbal abuse. They also confiscated the CCTV DVR system.
According to the police, the workers were physically assaulted and threatened with death. This incident follows a recent attempt to seize control of Vaishali Hotel at gunpoint. A case has already been registered at the Shivajinagar Police Station against four individuals, including Vishwajit Vinayakrao Jadhav (38 years old), in relation to the forcible takeover of the position of General Manager of Vaishali Hotel.
The police are actively investigating both cases and working to apprehend the culprits involved in these acts of violence.
