Violent Confrontation In Kulgam: Three Indian Army Jawans Injured In Encounter With Terrorists

Kulgam, India, 4th August 2023: An encounter occurred in the high reaches of the Halan forest area in Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in injuries to at least three Indian Army jawans. Additional police and army teams have been swiftly dispatched to the encounter site as the situation escalated. It is reported that some terrorists are currently trapped in the region. The injured jawans have been promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The exchange of gunfire is still ongoing.

According to a tweet from the Kashmir Zone Police, “Three (03) jawans sustained injuries in the encounter. They are being evacuated to the hospital for treatment.”
