Wakad Police Organize Discussion Seminar On Women’s day
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 8th March 2021: Wakad Police station had organized a discussion seminar on Women’s Day. The discussion topic was titled- Women In Leadership: Achievers, An equal, Future in Covid-19 World.
The chief guest of the event, Anjali Bhagwat (International Shooting Champion), Shital Ahirrao (Famous Marathi Actress), Tejaswini Dhomse-Sawai (Chairman-Federation of Housing Society), interacted and shared their experiences on occasion. Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash had also attended the program.
While interacting with eminent Nivedika Sneha Damle, the guests narrated their life experiences as a woman. They also advised the women to take care of the whole society and themselves in the battle of Corona.
Commissioner of Police Krishna Prakash expressed his thoughts on women’s plight and the importance of women’s empowerment through his self-written poems and ghazals. He further appealed to the women to come out of the circle of mother and child and prove their existence in every field and contribute to the country’s economic sector.
