Pune, January 15, 2021: An early report will be prepared by the administration to check the suitability of the new flyover from Wakdewadi to Pune-Mumbai road informed MLA Siddharth Shirole.

Narveer Tanajiwadi, Wakdewadi consists of a subway for two-wheelers. Since four-wheelers do not have access to this subway, four-wheelers have to travel via Shivajinagar to Pune-Mumbai highway from Bhosalenagar or Sancheti Hospital. As a result, the Pune University road and the Shimla office chowk are crowded with four-wheelers.

For this, it is necessary to build a flyover at Wakdewadi, and for this a provision of Rs 20 crore should be made in the municipal budget. A statement to this effect was made by MLA Shirole. It was given to the Municipal Commissioner on December 10, 2020.

Accordingly, today the site was inspected by him along with PMC’s Project Department Chief Engineer Indrabhan Ranadive and Junior Engineer Bhosale. At that time, the officials were informed about the administrative work of the new flyover. MLA Shirole hoped that the work of the new flyover would be speeded up keeping in mind the needs of the citizens.
