Wall of Humanity to warm-up Punekars

Pune – The much appreciated ‘Wall of Humanity’ has been started at Aundh in Pune to help people donate clothes and those who need it.
In this concept hangers are kept on the wall where those who want to donate, can hang clothes and those who need them can take them.
The initiative in Pune was taken by Nana Gopinath Walke and Jai Ganesh Yuva Pratishthan who started the wall on the compound of DAV school at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar chowk in Aundh.
“There are many people who have got old clothes in good condition which they are not using and would like to donate. Therefore we have provided a platform to such people. The needy people can come and take away clothes of their size”, Walke said.
This concept originated in Iran and since then traveled to Pakistan, India, China and other parts of the world.
