Water Supply To Be Cut Off On Thursday In Pune Due To Repair And Maintenance Works

Pune, 22 February 2022: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has informed that the water supply will be cut off in some parts of Pune on Thursday (24 February) due to the maintenance of distribution water supply line in areas that fall under the jurisdiction of Lashkar Jal Kendra (Somvar Peth, Narpatgiri chowk to 15 August Chowk) and urgent repair works of Ramtekdi main water pipeline.

The PMC has also informed that there is a possibility of low pressure water supply on Friday (25 February).

The two phases in the city where water supply will be cut off on Thursday are all parts of Pune Cantonment, Somwar Peth, Mangalwar Peth, Rasta Peth, Tadiwala Road area, Koregaon Park, Pune Station area, Sassoon Hospital area, Collectorate, Ambedkar Sanskritik Bhavan area, Ganeshkhind Road, Patil Estate, Shivajinagar, Ramtekdi Industrial Area, Sayyadnagar, Haven Park, Gosavi Vasti, Shankar Math, Vaiduwadi, Ramnagar, Anandnagar, Hadapsar, Gaothan, Satavwadi, Gondhalenagar Sasanenagar, Kalepadal, Mundhwa, Malwadi, Solapur Road, Keshavnagar, Manjari Budruk, Shewalewadi, BT Kavde Road, Bhimnagar, Balajinagar, Vikasnagar, Sadestaranali, Mahammadwadi Road, Handewadi Road, Fursungi, Uruli Devachi, Bhekarainagar, Mantarwadi.

The citizens are advised to make their own arrangements of storing water for the given time period, PMC stated in a press release.
