Pune, August 29, 2020: We have never mentioned Aditya Thackeray’s name directly or indirectly with regard to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, clarified Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis. He also added that however, everyday new truths are getting revealed in the CBI probe.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had pointed out that a young leader in Thackeray government was pressuring Mumbai police in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. There were rumours that the BJP was pointing fingers at State Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray.

He also questioned why all the new clarifications that have come forth due to the CBI probe, weren’t discovered by the Mumbai police earlier. He also said that he heard that some of the evidence was destroyed, and it would not have been destroyed if the Mumbai police had found it earlier. So, Fadnavis has questioned the government’s role in the delay in the investigation, and the State Government’s role in the same.
