Welcome 3: Get Ready To Embark On A Hilarious Journey As ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ Hits Screens In Christmas 2024
Mumbai, 16th August 2023: For quite some time, Welcome 3 has been capturing the spotlight, and now the creators have finally unveiled that the upcoming instalment in the series will bear the title ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. Just recently, on Wednesday, the renowned Producer Firoz Nadiadwala shared this thrilling revelation with fans. He announced that Welcome 3 is set to grace the silver screens on the Christmas of the following year.
“Firoz A Nadiadwala has fixed Christmas 2024 as the release date for ‘Welcome 3’… The third chapter in the ‘Welcome’ franchise has been named ‘Welcome To The Jungle’… Producer Firoz A Nadiadwala has chosen to bring this family-friendly amusement to the audience during Christmas 2024,” reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh, while conveying this significant development.
Interestingly, the initial Welcome movie also debuted on Christmas in 2007, and its sequel followed suit in 2015.
Meanwhile, as per reports circulating, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will not be reprising their roles in Welcome 3. These two actors had famously portrayed the iconic duo – Uday Bhai and Majnu Bhai – in both prior Welcome films. However, a recent article by Pinkvilla contended that they have been substituted by Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi for Welcome 3.
“Among the trio of films produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Welcome seems to be poised to take the lead, given that the script has been prepared for a while now. The filmmaker plans to infuse a new twist into the comedic storyline by casting Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi as the infamous gangsters – Majnu and Uday. Having already displayed their camaraderie as Munna and Circuit, this marks a new dimension for them in a fresh franchise,” revealed an inside source cited by the entertainment portal.
Adding to the anticipation, just last month, Arshad himself confirmed his involvement in Welcome 3. During an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor conveyed, “The magnitude of Welcome 3, both in terms of budget and the climactic sequences, is beyond imagination. It’s an incredibly grand theatrical production that I am honoured to be a part of. The cast includes myself, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal, and a host of other talents.”
