West Bengal Elections: BJP’s Shubhendu To Contest Against Mamata Banerjee In Nandigram

Kolkata, 6th March 2021: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the first list of its 57 candidates for the West Bengal assembly elections. From Nandigram, BJP gave the candidature to Shubhendu Adhikari, a prominent leader from TMC who recently joined BJP.

The party has given tickets to Sunita Singh from Kanthi North, Sukhmay Satpati from Jhargram, Tapan Bhuiya from Kharagpur, Shamit Das from Medinipur and Sudip Mukherjee from Purulia. Tapasi Mandal, who joined the BJP after leaving CPM, has been given a ticket from Haldia.
