Mumbai, 29th March 2022: In the recent assembly elections held in five states, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have dominated. In four states, the BJP won, while in Punjab the AAP got a majority.

Now in Maharashtra also many such leaders are looking for alternatives. They also include many sitting MLAs and senior leaders who are making up their minds to switch to the BJP and AAP.

On Monday, NCP Rajya Sabha MP Majeed Memon tweeted, “If Narendra Modi is won by the public and he proves to be the most famous leader in the world, then he must have some good qualities.”

After this tweet from Memon, the people of his party were surprised. Memon said, my words have been misinterpreted. He said I am not joining BJP.

A Congress leader said, other leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), especially those who are in Congress, are thinking. After the crushing defeat in Punjab, he is worried about his future. In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and UP, when power was lost from our hands, it never came back. Now Punjab has also joined this series.

“Many people believe that even if Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP fight together in 2024, the BJP will still win,” he said.

On the other hand, AAP’s national working member Preeti Menon said, “Some big leaders of Congress are in touch with us. Right now we are taking our time and thinking about it.”
