With 24,886 COVID Cases Today, Maharashtra Crosses 10 Lakh Mark

Mumbai, Sep 11, 2020: A total of 14,308 patients were discharged and 24,886 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 1938 new cases were reported in Pune City today. Today, 393 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.83%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 10,15,689 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

 

According to the health department, 7,15,023 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.83%. As of today, there are 2,71,566 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 70.04% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.83%. Currently, 16,47,742 people are in home quarantine and 38,487  people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 50,72,521 laboratory samples, 10,15,681 have been tested positive (20%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,562,414 across the country. Out of this, 3,542,663 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 76,271 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 943,480 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
