Woman Attacked With Sharp Weapon at WNS Global Services in Pune’s Ramwadi
Yerawada, 7th January 2025: A violent incident occurred at a major company in Pune earlier today. At approximately 6:15 PM, a woman was attacked with a sharp weapon in the Ramwadi area. The attack took place in the parking lot of WNS Global Services, which falls under the jurisdiction of Yerawada Police Station.
Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Shelke, in charge of Yerawada Police Station, provided details of the incident. The victim, a 28-year-old woman residing in Katraj, was assaulted by Krushna Satya Narayan Kanoja, a 30-year-old man from Shivajinagar. Inspector Shelke stated that the attack was motivated by past conflicts and animosity between the two.

The assailant targeted the woman’s right arm with a sharp weapon, resulting in an injury to her elbow. Following the attack, the victim was promptly taken to a private hospital in the Yerawada area for medical treatment.
Police have successfully arrested the accused, Krushna Satya Narayan Kanoja. As of now, the process of formally registering the case is underway at Yerawada Police Station.
