World Skill Training Mission by CREDAI-Pune Metro through Kushal under the aegis of NSDC, New Delhi

Pune, January 5, 2022:  The CREDAI- Pune Metro under its Kushal initiative felicitated 12 young participants from various states who will be participating at the IndiaSkills 2022 National Competition to be held in Delhi between January 6 and January 10, 2022 under the aegis of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India.

The 12 regional competition winners from six states across India including Kerala, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana as well as Maharashtra where CREDAI Kushal is recognized as the best and well equipped skill training partner were trained in Bricklaying and Wall Floor Tiling Skills at KUSHAL Training Centre at AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune, which was held from December 22, 2021 to January 4, 2022.

CREDAI-Kushal organized a certificate distribution ceremony to boost the morale of these young participants who would be participating for IndiaSkills 2022 in presence of Chief Guest, Amar Manjrekar, Vice President, CREDAI-Pune Metro and Chairman and Managing Director of Amar Builders, Guest of Honour Sandhya Choudhari, Skill Development Officer, Government of Maharashtra, J.P. Shroff, Chairman Kushal- CREDAI Pune Metro, Kavish Thakwani, SC Member, Dr. D.K. Abhyankar, Director General, CREDAI Pune-Metro, Urmila Julka, GM, CREDAI Pune-Metro and members of CREDAI Kushal including Pallavi Kothari, Training Head and Sameer Parkhi, Labour Welfare Officer among others.

Accordingly, the winning champion at the national level will be further trained by CREDAI- Kushal to compete at WorldSkills, 2022, which is scheduled to be held from October 12 to October 18, 2022 in Shanghai, China. WorldSkills competition aims to provide a global platform to the youth of nations across 46 countries in 6 major sectors like Construction, IT, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Digital Skills and Media to compete and develop world class standard techniques.

So far, CREDAI-Kushal has been the winner of ‘Medallion of Excellence’ at WorldSkills 2015 in Brazil, WorldSkills 2017 in Abhu Dhabi- UAE and WorldSkills 2019 at Kazan, Russia.

Speaking during the event, Amar Manjrekar said, “I am glad to see the bricklaying work and construction carried out by the young engineers with 0 to 1 mm of error. I congratulated J.P. Shroff and his team for his achievement of being a Chairman of NSDC task force.”
