Young People in Pune Threaten Shopkeeper with Koyta, Raising Safety Concerns
Pune, 9th March 2023: A group of young people in Pune have been caught on camera brandishing weapons and issuing threats to a shopkeeper. The video footage shows the group carrying knives and a weapon called ‘Koyta’, and shouting, “Close the shop or else we will kill you.”
The incident occurred in the Warje area of Pune, and the shopkeeper has filed a complaint with the local police. The police are currently investigating the matter and have assured the shopkeeper that they will take appropriate action against the culprits.
This incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of shopkeepers in the city, and highlights the need for better law enforcement and stricter punishments for those who commit such crimes.
