Zero Covid-19 Deaths Reported For The First Time In Pune District
Pune, 07th December 2021: A total of 170 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 217 people were discharged from hospitals.
Today, A total of 87,734 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,38,15,548. About 83,41,027 people have got the first dose while 54,74,521 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1669 active patients in the district and 607 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1062 are in home isolation. Out of 170 new cases, 74 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 49 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 04 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 04 in cantonments, and 39 in rural areas.
Out of 217 discharged patients, 92 were in PMC, 47 were in PCMC, 7 were in municipal councils, 06 were in cantonments, and 65 were in rural areas.
