Zero Deaths And Below 100 New Covid-19 Positive Cases In Pune District

Pune, 20th December 2021: A total of 93 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 151 people were discharged from hospitals. 0 person succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 59,342 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,46,11,293. About 85,84,180 people have got the first dose while 60,27,113 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1854 active patients in the district and 569 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1285 are in home isolation. Out of 93 new cases, 33 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 34 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 06 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 0 in cantonments, and 20 in rural areas.

Out of 151 discharged patients, 77 were in PMC, 25 were in PCMC, 06 were in municipal councils, 07 were in cantonments, and 36 were in rural areas.
