CME – 116 SOLDIERS RECEIVE DIPLOMA CERTIFICATES

106 Soldiers of Corps of Engineers, one from Garrison Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), seven from Maldives and two from Nepal were awarded scroll on completion of their Diploma courses at a glittering  ceremony  conducted at College of Military Engineering , Pune.  The proud recipients would hereinafter be appointed as Junior Engineers in the Military Engineering Service (MES) and Border Road Organisation which are one of the largest construction agencies in the country.

College of Military Engineering is a premier institution which besides developing Combat Engineers prepares Engineers and Diploma holders to tenate various executive and staff works appointments in the Indian Armed Forces and its allied organizations.  Diploma Certificate duly recognized by AICTE & MSBTE are awarded to students at the end of their two year course, Speaking on this occasion, Maj Gen Rajesh Tyagi, the Deputy Commandant and Dean of the College of Military Engineering  emphasized on the need to deliver whole heartedly towards improving the works infrastructural wherewithal for the Armed Forces.
