“Swachchta Pakhwara”-initiatives to create awareness about cleanliness, waste management,
16 Sep 2019, Pune : As per directives of Railway Board, “Swachchta Pakhwara” is being undertaken over the Division from 16.09.2019 to 30.09.2019.
Today in keeping with the spirit of “Swachchta Pakhwara” various initiatives to create awareness about cleanliness, waste management, harmful effects of single use plastic etc have been undertaken in association with NGOs, Passenger Associations, members of scouts & guides and students of various schools and collages.
Swachata Oath was administered by DRM at Pune station and by station incharges at various depots/ stations. As part of the awareness drive Flash mobs and nukkad nataks were conducted. Rallies were carried out at various stations by school students conveying the message of Swachata.
