11th Admission: Cut-Off In Pune’s Reputed Colleges Dip Despite 99.95% SSC Results

Pune, 28 August 2021: In a surprising move the cut-off of all the reputed colleges in Pune city has seen a dip for admission to class 11. Despite a good Secondary School Certificate (SSC) result of 99.95%, the two-three per cent dip was noticed.

Although there have been several opinions over the dip, educational experts feel that the financial constraints, pandemic situation are the major factor that has contributed.

The officials from a reputed city college said, “the number of students applying for junior colleges in the city also has decreased considerably. Similarly, many parents have preferred to wait and watch.”

Actual admission

Meanwhile, the deputy director of education in the press release has said that those who have been allotted the colleges in the first list, must take the admission. If they fail to take the admission then, they will have to wait for the admission till the entire process gets over.

It also mentioned that the students must upload the required documents and make the payment through the payment gateway. 

The entire process will be conducted online. Similarly, those who do not have the NCL, but want to apply under it should upload the receipt of the application. The deadline for submitting the NCL certificate is 21 days”, the press release stated.

The students who have names in the first list must secure their admission between 27-8-2021 to 30-8-2021.
