13-Year-Old Boy Dies Of Suicide After His Mother Refused To Allow Him Watch Television

Pimpri-Chinchwad, December 5, 2020: A 13-year-old boy committed suicide in Pimpri-Chinchwad after his mother refused to allow him to watch TV.
The deceased has been identified as Ramzan Abdul Shaikh. The incident took place in the Chikhali area.
According to police, angered by controversy over watching TV, Ramzan tried to end his life by hanging himself around 5 pm on Tuesday. But when family members noticed that Ramzan had choked, they rushed him to a nearby private hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on time and saved his life. However, his health deteriorated on Wednesday night. Therefore, he was being shifted to another hospital when he died on the way.
