184 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 74,259 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 09th December 2021: A total of 184 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 157 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 74,259 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,39,65,796 . About 83,91,164 people have got the first dose while 55,74,632 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1715 active patients in the district and 588 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1127 are in home isolation. Out of 184 new cases, 68 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 54 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 09 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 02 in cantonments, and 51 were in Pune rural area.
Among the 02 deaths, one was in PMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 157 discharged patients, 51 were in PMC, 63 were in PCMC, 09 were in municipal councils, 04 were in cantonments, and 30 were in rural areas.
