201 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 77,148 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 11th December 2021: A total of 201 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 199 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 77,148 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,41,25,456. About 84,41,269 people have got the first dose while 56,84,187 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1665 active patients in the district and 555 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1110 are in home isolation. Out of 201 new cases, 86 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 37 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 14 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 01 in cantonments, and 63 in rural areas.
Among the 02 deaths, one was in PMC, and one was in PCMC. Out of 199 discharged patients, 97 were in PMC, 31 were in PCMC, 13 were in municipal councils, 0 were in cantonments, and 58 were in rural areas.
