249 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 31,566 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 9th November 2021: A total of 249 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 199 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 31,566 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,22,33,551. About 78,75,738 people have got the first dose while 43,57,813 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2107 active patients in the district and 1231 of them are admitted to hospitals while 876 are in home isolation. Out of 249 new cases, 113 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 43 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 07 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 83 in rural areas.
Out of 199 discharged patients, 59 were in PMC, 42 were in PCMC, 17 were in municipal councils, 04 were in cantonments, and 77 were in rural areas. Two deaths were reported in Pune rural.
