257 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 33,319 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 17th November 2021: A total of 257 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 192 people were discharged from hospitals. 04 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 33,319 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,25,25,678. About 79,52,607 people have got the first dose while 45,73,071 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2099 active patients in the district and 1028 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1071 are in home isolation. Out of 257 new cases, 106 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 43 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 21 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 04 in cantonments, and 83 in rural areas.
Among the 04 deaths, two were reported in PMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 192 discharged patients, 69 were in PMC, 45 were in PCMC, 11 were in municipal councils, 09 were in cantonments, and 58 were in rural areas.
