29 Seats Left Vacant In NIT After JoSAA Counselling, 914 Students Out Of 931 Took Admission

Patna, 11th November 2022: The process for admission in NIT Patna ended on Wednesday (November 9). Till Thursday (November 10), 914 students have got their admissions confirmed in the campus. After the reporting process is over, 29 seats are left vacant in NIT Patna.

 

This time there were 943 seats in NIT, but 931 seats were allotted to NIT Patna on behalf of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

 

12 seats had already been reduced by JoSSA. After that, out of 931 seats, 914 students have got their enrollment confirmed. Most of the seats are vacant for dual degree and architecture. In NITs, 50 percent are reserved for the students of the state.

 

On Thursday, the Induction program was organized at NIT Patna. Addressing the new students, Director Prof. PK Jain advised students to not panic as they will get the best atmosphere in NIT.
