Another Local from Lonavla to Pune to be made Semi-Fast

20 DEC 2018 , PUNE – Pune Mandal has decided to make Local No.- 99835, running for Lonavla-Pune at 11.40 pm, a semi-fast train for the convenience of the passengers.

This local will leave from Lonavla on its scheduled time at 11.40 pm and reach Pune at 00.50 pm. Earlier, this local reached at 01.35 pm at Pune station.

The stoppage of this local at Malavali, Kamshet, Kanhe, Bagdevadi, Kasarwadi and Kharki stations is being terminated because the research found that few people board from these stations.

After boarding this local at 00.50, passengers will be able to catch Hussain Sagar Express for going to Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj, Puducherry Express, Tirunelveli Express, Shravati Express and Daund, Solapur, Wadi etc., It will also be convenient for the passengers to catch other trains from the station.
The time saved from terminating the stoppage to these 6 stations is 45 minutes. It has become necessary to do so intending to facilitate the passengers as a whole, this will definitely benefit the passengers.

This change of the local train will be applicable for the forthcoming 15 days dated from 22.12.18 to 05.01.19.
