377 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 28,828 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 19th October 2021: A total of 377 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 466 people were discharged from hospitals. 08 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 28,828 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,15,85,449. About 75,99,997 people have got the first dose while 39,85,452 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 4189 active patients in the district and 2307 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1882 are in home isolation. Out of 377 new cases, 112 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 68 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 15 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 05 in cantonments, and 177 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, two were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and four were in rural areas. Out of 466 discharged patients, 119 were in PMC, 93 were in PCMC, 28 were in municipal councils, 0 were in cantonments, and 225 were in rural areas.
