452 players for Truespace-PN Jewellers Pune District Selection boys and girls Chess Tournament
Pune, January 20, 2023: A total 452 players in various age groups will be seen in action at the Truespace-PN Jewellers Pune District Selection boys and girls Chess Tournament which will be organized by Pune District Chess Circle and played at Symbiosis School, and Sonal Hall Karve road from 21st to 22nd January 2023.
Mr.Prakash Kunte said that, The tournament will be held under the auspices of MCA. The event will offer total prize money of Rs.45,000/-. The event will be played under Swiss league format. The event will be played in the Under 7, 9, 13, 15 and open category. Under 7 and 9 group matches will be played at Symbiosis School, Prabhat Road and under 13, 15 and open category matches will be played at Sonal Hall, Karve Road.
A total 452 Chess Players from districts have registered for this tournament. Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include Gaurav Bakliwal (Open,2085), Aditi Kayal (Women, 1567), Dawda Vihaan(Boys U15, 1561), Anushka Kutwal(Girls U15, 1509), Sharnarthi Viresh (Boys U13, 1709), Nihira Koul(Girls U13, 1347), Raghav Pawade(Boys U9, 1246), Ira Bohara(Girls U9, 1048), Nivaan Agarwal(Boys U7,1072).
The tournament will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr.Saurabh Gadgil, Chairman and MD of PNG Jewellers, Mr.Ashwin Trimal, VP of PDCC and Director of Truespace on Saturday, 21st January at 8.45am.
