508 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 89,127 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 89,127 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 97,95,657. About 68,34,792 people have got the first dose while 29,60,865 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6971 active patients in the district and 3047 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3924 are in home isolation. Out of 508 new cases, 86 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 109 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 42 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 04 in cantonments, and 267 in rural areas.
Among the 05 deaths, three were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 878 discharged patients, 237 were in PMC, 96 were in PCMC, 92 were in municipal councils, 21 were in cantonments, and 432 were in rural areas.
