731 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 57,153 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 57,143 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,02,20,808. About 70,16,079 people have got the first dose while 32,04,729 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6525 active patients in the district and 2988 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3537 are in home isolation. Out of 731 new cases, 134 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 122 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 56 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 09 in cantonments, and 410 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, two were in PMC, one was in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and four were in rural areas. Out of 962 discharged patients, 211 were in PMC, 243 were in PCMC, 71 were in municipal councils, 10 were in cantonments, and 427 were in rural areas.
