910 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 812 Discharged Today

Pune, 6th July 2021: A total of 910 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 812 people were discharged from hospitals. 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,172 active patients in the district and 5833 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4339 are in home isolation. Out of 910 new cases, 268 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 226 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 66 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 9 in cantonments and 341 in rural areas.

Among the 10 deaths, five were in PMC, one in PCMC, 1 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad),  and three in rural areas. Out of 812 discharged patients, 226 were in PMC, 329 were in PCMC, 97 in municipal councils, 19 in cantonments,  and 141 in rural areas.
