947 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 1,10,549 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 3 September 2021: A total of 947 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 880 people were discharged from hospitals. 08 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. Today, a total of 1,10,549 doses of the COVID vaccine was administered to people in the district.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,042 active patients in the district and 4905 of them are admitted to hospitals while 5137 are in home isolation. Out of 947 new cases, 244 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 152 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 100 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 07 in cantonments, and 444 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, five were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 880 discharged patients, 205 were in PMC, 155 were in PCMC, 58 were in municipal councils, 04 were in cantonments, and 458 were in rural areas.
