AI is an Assistant, Not a Boss: Expert Talks Fintech at Excellent Multimedia in Pune
Camp, 10th April 2025: An awareness session on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence was conducted at Excellent Multimedia Classes for students and faculty, featuring industry expert Amarprit Kohli as the speaker. Kohli, who has over 25 years of experience in the financial technology sector and currently leads software delivery and engineering for a major German financial institution, shared insights into the evolving landscape of Fintech and the role of AI in transforming industry practices.
The session focused on how technology is redefining financial services through tools such as digital wallets, mobile banking, peer-to-peer payments, and AI-driven financial planning. Kohli also highlighted the intersection of Fintech and graphic design, emphasizing the role of creativity and user experience in developing impactful financial applications.
Excellent Multimedia, a training and placement institute established in April 2011, has been instrumental in preparing students for careers in graphic design, motion design, digital marketing, and UI/UX design. The institute has successfully placed over 3,200 students in top multinational companies across India and Dubai.
Mohammed Lokhandwala, Founder of Excellent Multimedia Classes, told Punekar News that such sessions provide valuable exposure to industry practices and market trends. “AI is a tool to enhance our work efficiency and create brilliant artwork, but we can’t depend entirely on it. It’s a tool to assist, not to command,” he stated.
The event served as a platform to connect academic training with real-world applications, inspiring students to embrace technological advancements while maintaining a strong foundation in creative and analytical thinking.
