Pune: Sainik Welfare Department Seeks Details of Ex-Servicemen with Adventure Training by August 21

Pune, 12th August 2025: The Sainik Welfare Department has called upon ex-servicemen in Pune district who have completed adventure training to submit their details to the District Sainik Welfare Office by August 21, 2025.

The department is seeking information from those who have undergone courses such as Basic Mountaineering, Advanced Mountaineering, Para Gliding, Para Jumping, River Rafting, or have expertise in swimming.

District Sainik Welfare Officer, Pune, Lieutenant Colonel SD Hange (Retd.), said in a press release that ex-servicemen should provide their army number, rank, full name, residential address, date of birth, course name, institution where the course was undertaken, and mobile number.

The initiative aims to compile a database of skilled ex-servicemen for potential engagement in relevant activities and events.
