Football: Nine Players Make Senior Pune Squad, Goalkeeper Anjali Named Skipper
Pune, 13th August 2025: Nine players from city based Aspire F.C, including goalkeeper cum skipper Anjali Barke, have been shortlisted to represent Pune at the Maharashtra State (WIFA) Inter-District Football Championship for Senior Women 25 at Palghar.
The players include Aditee Shitole, Pooja Gupta, Ritika Singh, Vedangi Gandle, Senorita Nongpluh, Tanaya Gaikwad, Priya Rathod, Armeet Kaur Karir all of whom are part of the Aspire F.C squad.
Meanwhile the team currently in Palghar is being head-coached by Ranjeet Joshi, an AFC ‘C’ Licence coach.
