Special Trains from Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur Extended to December 2025
Pune/Mumbai, 30 September 2025: In a move to accommodate the festive and year-end rush, Central Railway has announced the extension of several special trains operating across Maharashtra and adjoining regions. The services, which were earlier scheduled to run until the end of September 2025, will now continue until December 31, 2025.
Extended Train Services from Pune and Other Locations:
1. Pune – Kolhapur (Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus) Daily Special:
Train No. 01023 (Pune–Kolhapur) and Train No. 01024 (Kolhapur–Pune) will now run from October 1 to December 31, 2025, adding 92 trips in each direction.
2. Pune – Harangul Daily Special:
Train No. 01487 (Pune–Harangul) and Train No. 01488 (Harangul–Pune) extended from October 1 to December 31, 2025 (92 trips each).
These trains will now halt at Murud station, with Train 01487 arriving at 11:25 hrs and Train 01488 at 15:19 hrs.
3. Mumbai (LTT) – Solapur Weekly Special:
Train No. 01436 (LTT–Solapur), initially notified to run until October 1, is now extended from October 8 to December 31, 2025 (13 trips).
Train No. 01435 (Solapur–LTT) extended from October 7 to December 30, 2025 (13 trips).
These trains also receive a new halt at Murud: Train 01436 at 22:04 hrs, Train 01435 at 18:00 hrs.
4. Solapur – Daund Unreserved Daily Special:
Train No. 01461 (Solapur–Daund) and Train No. 01462 (Daund–Solapur) extended from October 1 to December 31, 2025, covering 92 trips each.
5. Solapur – Kalaburagi Unreserved Daily Special:
Train No. 01465 (Solapur–Kalaburagi) and Train No. 01466 (Kalaburagi–Solapur) to run till December 31, 2025 (92 trips each).
6. Badnera – Nashik Road Unreserved Daily Special:
Train No. 01211 (Badnera–Nashik Road) and Train No. 01212 (Nashik Road–Badnera) extended from October 1 to December 31, 2025 (92 trips each).
Special Route Diversion and Extension:
Solapur – Dharmavaram Special (Train No. 01437), earlier running till October 2, will now run up to Anakapalle via Solapur from October 9 to November 27, 2025.
Train No. 01438 (Dharmavaram–Solapur) will now start from Anakapalle from October 11 to November 29, 2025.
Halt Additions at Murud Station:
Four trains will now halt at Murud with immediate effect:
01436 (LTT–Solapur) – 22:04 hrs
01435 (Solapur–LTT) – 18:00 hrs
01487 (Pune–Harangul) – 11:25 hrs
01488 (Harangul–Pune) – 15:19 hrs
