Pune: Khadki-Indore Festival Special Trains Announced; Bookings from October 1

Pune, 30 September 2025: In a bid to ease the festive travel rush, the Pune railway division has introduced a special weekly train service between Khadki and Indore for the Puja season. This service, set to operate on special charges, will run for a total of nine round trips.

Train No. 09323 Khadki – Indore Weekly Special will depart from Khadki at 05:10 hrs every Thursday from October 2, 2025, to November 27, 2025. It will reach Indore at 23:55 hrs on the same day.

On the return leg, Train No. 09324 Indore – Khadki Weekly Special will depart from Indore at 11:15 hrs every Wednesday from October 1, 2025, to November 26, 2025, arriving at Khadki at 03:10 hrs the next day.

The special train will stop at several key stations including Dewas, Ujjain Junction, Nagda Junction, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan, and Lonavala.

The train will be composed of 20 LHB coaches, including one AC 2-Tier, 17 AC 3-Tier, and two Generator Van coaches.

Ticket bookings for the special train service will open on October 1, 2025, and will be available through all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centers as well as the IRCTC website. Passengers are encouraged to make advance bookings due to the expected high demand during the Puja season.
