Association Puna Social, Gunners FC, Pune Warriors FC, Durga Sports Academy, Sangam Sports Club teams advance victoriously

Pune, 18th February 2026: Association Puna Social, Gunners FC, Pune Warriors FC, Durga Sports Academy and Sangam Sports Club teams defeated their respective rival teams and advanced victoriously in the first division group match of the ‘PDFA League 2026’ football tournament organized by the Pune District Football Association.

In the first division group match of this tournament, which is underway at the Bharati Vidyapeeth ground in Katraj, Association Puna Social A team defeated Sangvi Football Club Association A team 1-0 on the strength of a goal scored by Eric Hokip. Jayant Nimbalkar scored three goals as Gunners FC defeated City Club 4-2. Along with Jayant, Kedar Mulmandekar scored one goal for Gunners. Adnan Sheikh and Umer Khan scored for City Club. Ayush Jagnade and Jatin Singh scored goals as Pune Warriors FC defeated Woba FC A 2-0.

Durga Sports Academy easily defeated PCH Sports Club 8-0. Mayur Waghire scored three goals for Durga. Siddhant Wardha scored two goals and Neeraj Mane scored one goal. Sangam Sports Club B easily defeated Ghorpadi Tamil United 3-0 with goals scored by Irfan Ansari and Prathamesh Chewde. The match between Pune City Police and Valley Hunters FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Yogesh Vaval scored for Pune City Police and Sameer Bhunival for Valley Hunters FC.
