Pune: GOG FC Shine in PDFA Super Division League
Pune, 16th April 2026: GOG FC delivered an emphatic performance in their league round encounter of the Pune District Football Association (PDFA) Super Division League 2026, organised by the Pune District Football Association and played at the Hotfut Bavdhan Football Ground.
In a high-scoring encounter, GOG FC ran riot with a 7-0 demolition of Deccan XI FC. Sumit Bhandari starred with a brace, while Prakash Thorat, Satish Hawaldar, Premkumar Bhoyar, Nikhil Mali and Surajbahadur Thapa all found the scoresheet.
CMS Falcons dominated proceedings to register a convincing 4-0 win over Fatima XI. Manish Thakare led the charge with a brace, scoring in the 11th and 32nd minutes, while Rugved Yeole and Aman Sen added a goal each to seal a comprehensive victory.
Thundercatz FC edged past Chetak FC 4-3 in a thrilling contest. Arhev Jodhwani, Om Dhamale, Abhishek Singh and Shubham Rai scored for Thundercatz, while Nikhil Padwal netted twice for Chetak FC, with Pavan Kapde adding another.
Rangehills Young Boys FC secured a 3-1 victory over Real Pune United FC, with Nishit Hegde scoring twice and Nikil Narayanan contributing one. Yash Gatkal scored the lone goal for Real Pune United.
Indrayani SC clinched a narrow 4-3 win against New India Soccer Club in another closely fought match. Goals from Ayush Deepak, Jagath Raj, Ajay Rathod and Shubham Potghan ensured victory, despite a spirited response from Zephaniah Menezes, Kartik Bhandare and Sahil Madavi.
In the final match of the day, Sangam SC and UKM Kothrud FC played out a 1-1 draw. Cladeo Nongpluh scored for Sangam SC, while Rohit Rawat equalised for UKM Kothrud FC.
